Successful brands are always telling stories, but why is it so important? Your brand story is what builds an emotional connection with your audience. Feelings of happiness, nostalgia, or passion are strong emotions that then tie into your brand identity. Your audience should look at your brand and see themselves in it. 

You might think that you don’t have a cohesive brand story to tell, but think again. Your brand story comes out in everything you do. It’s in your founder’s story. It’s your reason you started your brand. Your customers tell your story every time they give a testimonial, post about it online, or share their experience with a friend. Collaborating with creators that align with your brand story helps to amplify it even further.

Marketing at the end of the day is just storytelling. Everything you put out into the world should align with your brand story, from your photography to video content to written copy.
